Grilling Guide

You don’t have to be a grill master to prepare an enjoyable outdoor meal. A simple spice rub or quick glaze will add some extra flavor and sizzle to your suppertime. To help you perfectly prepare your protein, we have included a chart with recommended cooking times and temperatures according to the USDA and FoodSafety.gov.

Grilling is a simple way to prepare vegetables right alongside your protein or main dish. When grilling vegetables, it is important to grill them over medium heat to prevent the vegetables from browning too quickly. Rotating vegetables a quarter turn will create cross-hatched grill marks and moving the vegetables around also prevents them from burning. Don’t toss them in too much oil before grilling as this can cause charring. In order to ensure that the entire meal is ready to eat at the same time, use this vegetable grilling chart as a guide for cooking times.
